Nougat was with us for nearly 10 years. Autumn, 2008, we made the hard choice to let her go, which broke our hearts. We still haven’t adjusted, and miss her more than I can say.
Maia is a giant, noisy teddy bear. She is 5 years old and 56 pounds! Amazing, cute, funny, and learns quickly -- and I swear she hears interstellar radio signals with those ears. Favorite spot? My pillow! LOL!

Ripley, aka, Ripper, is my little “Bugboy” of a Rat Terrier. At 3 years old, he is a bit of a pudge, but we are working on that. He has figured out how to manipulate the world, cute and intelligent boy that he is.

Zachary came to live with us in November, 2009. He was the dedicated fuzzball to J’s Aunt Lorraine prior to her passing away and she asked us to take care of him when she was gone. Although no one, including the vet, expected him to stay long after his person left, he was with us for nearly a year before we lost him to a heart attack. For such a little guy, he left an amazingly large hole in our household.
Jack Squeezel came to us from Animal Care and Control in September of 2011. He is 1 1/2 years old and almost serially happy (we occasionally refer to him as “Special Fred”). He makes life more interesting and enjoyable, and now Maia has a rough and tumble playmate!
